Ah!, so many fond memories of past Cold Duck rallies. Sadly I guess it has come to an end. The venue location and the operators were what created the great atmosphere and I don't believe trying to continue at a new location will ever be the same.

It would be more financially viable to call a new rally the cold turkey & spend the ten grand on something tangible.
Websites & Facebook pages aren't particularly difficult or expensive to set up.
These things were run entirely on passion & volunteer labour in the day. It's sad to see one "for sale" it kind of cheapens it.

RMCC have already had a couple of working bees up there this year they tell me.

Nice. I have done the Southern Rallies but never one in the North Island.
Had the trailer loaded last year. Built it in time to do the Rally.
Im not loading it until the last few days this time though.

That's me last year LOL
