    But what a great ride.

Thanks for the support guys, I knew some of you would understand.........

By the next ride, hopefully I will have that horrible Battlax off my front tyre and a yummy Mitch Pilot Sport on instead. Nothing more worrying than a dodgy front.

    Cool

For whats its worth, i think as a group [upon reflection] we were often going a little hard.........particularly in the 80 and 50 zones.
On two occasion's i witnessed there were local's standing on the side of the road shaking fist's. Guy's if we piss them of to much the cop's will do something about it.....[ i count myself guilty, and will be altering my behaviour]
Might get more of my high speed fix at the track where it belong's in future.

just force yourself to ease up thru the zones in the towns.. there's plenty of open roads out of the towns. Last thing we want to do is piss off the peeps, else it'll wreck a wicked ride.

no need to turn up to ride with me again as id hate to hold you up
Mate, you do not what lines are, LOL.

And, you do not know what fast is, you think you do, but you don't. "tryin to prove a point"?, if you knew fast road riding you would know i was far from being aggressive. A good rider on a GSXR1000 should leave me for dead any where, and should have no problems overtaking my 90hp (if i'm lucky) VTR. It was obvious you're a bit scared to twist that throttle thou, so if you did, you know i would be right behind you.

WORSE RIDER?, mate, you need to take a look at yourself. I think it's a case of a shitty old VTR showing you up

He's certainly impressive to follow - and his tyres seem so skinny!

This threads turning out to be more fun than the ride.

Sixpack does this mean instead of 250KmH in a 50 zone you will knock it back to a sedate 220KmH. After you went past in to Coromandel the locals where all lookin skyward wondering if the Air Force had let a Skyhawk loose.
