Yeah great shots Trev. Next time we'll try to have matching yella and black leathers and helmets. I hope the others note that there are no 250's anywhere near us. They must have been busy picking on those other bigger bikes in cruise mode.

Have to second what RiB says about people not moving over. I thought having HDTboy running interference for me might have made a few folk aware others are coming but no.

As for the 250 guys patting themselves on the back for being so fast. Well its easy to ride bikes that are light and don't need to slow for corners. Maybe the should try a powerful bike like the "busa" and see what happens when a handful of throttle applied at the wrong time can do between two slow corners. Still I loved it when I had a small bike picking on bigger bikes when I was learning.

    But what a great ride.

a lot of that is just a pisstake, we're not as dumb as we look at the end of the day! I know after trying the ZX7R what the power difference does to things, i'm looking forward to being able to use it as an excuse as well

Heh heh I'm taking the piss outta you guys too. I didn't need any excuses. At my age you guys should have been kickin my ass in the tight stuff. Ahhhh I was trying to point out that that young 250 riders are focussed on how fast they can go. While other riders have different means of enjoying themselves.

well if you knew how to keep to a line and not be a danger to fellow rides i would have passed you 5 ks back as thats where we almost came off but you were to busy tryin to prove a point rideing all over the road like a truck and trailer unit hence the wide birth you got after that but
no need to turn up to ride with me again as id hate to hold you up

Hey Trev, did you get a picture of me and pillion going around the outside of that 4x4 on the corner that Gareth_D is hugging the inside of?

If I was responsible for holding anyone up by not using my mirrors I apologise, gotta take it a little easier with a passenger and the mirrors on the k5 need a little elbow tucking to see much more than leather!

I had a great ride and so did Ana on the back, hopefully next time she'll be on her own two wheels. I think the one litre club doing wheelstands past us at highspeed have inspired her!! "Why can't you do that?" she kept asking...............no balls i'm afraid...I lost them in my last crash. I think they can be found somewhere in Colemans workshop once they surgically remove them from the tank of my last bike.

Can't make Saturday I'm afraid, got work in the morning. Where you headed? I may try and catch up for the last leg home and a beer afterwards.

Opo is a definite possibility, I'll be playing catch up again on the Saturday but am keen for the trip.

Now I just need to get a new rear for the k5, found a nasty split on Sunday so it's only good for commuting at the mo, sucks ass cos I reckon it's still good for another thousand k's. I may give the Avon Viper a try is I can get a good price.
