Brazilian woman survives being shot in head 6 times

7.20am Tuesday November 14, 2006

A woman was released from the hospital a day after she was shot in the head six times in an attack police blamed on her ex-husband.

Patricia Goncalves Pereira, 21, was shot after an altercation with her ex-husband, upset because she would not return to him, Globo TV reported.

"I know this was a miracle," Pereira said. "Now I just want to extract the bullets and live my life."

Shes plucky, gotta give her that!
