    Remember Arron?

You are a liar and a thief! Don't ever think I'll forget, or stop reminding those who do.

Trying to poke fun at whatever personal issues I have, says more about you than me. We'll have this conversation in person some time, I look forward to it greatly.

Never deal with him involving money or motorcycles, and you'll be fine.

So my brake pads front and rear have loads left. Just gonna change the fluid out again.
Oil change and filter is due too so I'll do that aaaand that's all I'm doing.

What tyre pressures should I run? Currently for road riding 28 front and 34 rear have been good.

How long is a piece of string?

    Refer to tyre manufacturer/distributor.

They don't put up info like that... I figured someone might know some safe pressures to start with. Factory is 29 front 32 rear.

default answer seems to be 30/30 cold when asking instructor types at track days I've done (ART / HDRD etc). From there it's preference - the idea is the pressure will raise as you get heat in them, and you'll typically get more heat in them compared to road use so you start with lower pressures.

Great thanks for that. There aren't any compressors on site in the pits that I can adjust pressures with is there? May have to try source something if that is the case.

Someone will have a foot pump guaranteed.

Advice I have been given is never go less than -5psi on the usual, and 30/30 has been quoted a lot as Latte said. The other thing which was pointed out to me by a rider who I respect a lot is: it's going to be a while before you are riding above the abilities of your bike or tyres - if ever. Don't get too hung up on getting them perfect, they'll be fine - concentrate on your riding.

Although you arent doing an AMCC ART day, check out their website for what to bring and what to expect. Apart from the lunch and training aspect it's pretty close to a standard track day.

I know this is going to sound stupid but I honestly had no idea you could use a foot pump to pump up motor vehicle tyres... I may as well get one because it'll be very useful. I always thought they were only good for inflating balls, airbeds etc.
    Looking at this: http://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/red/ca...mp?SKU=1906134
Even says I can use on vehicle, never realised haha

Yeah I really doubt I will ride past the limits of my bike on the day, if anything I expect I will have brake fade and run off the track or try keep up with someone and run off after bitching out of entering a corner.
