are doing a great deal on wharfedale subs.
The 10" Powercube down from $599 to $279. I just couldn't not buy it.
It doesn't half make a difference.

10"s a bit of a waste of time unless you have lightweight sort of system.
As long as it isnt one of those satelitte type systems, bleargh.
Good deal if you've got a smaller system though.
We have a smallish TV room, it can set up some good vibes in the furnishings though.
Roll on summer, I can get my own back on the budding rock stars down the drive.

Wharfedale subs are absolute rubbish. You are better off spending extra cash and buying a Velodyne sub.
Or pilfer yourself some Polk RT12i fronts and not need a sub at all!Originally Posted by Teflon

10" is plenty, home systems don't need to be as large or powerful as car audio systems due to the inherrent bad acoustics in a car interior.
Warfedale is pretty average, but then you get what you pay for, you're not going to find a Tannoy, Polk or B&W for that price. Just use a quality amp anddon't overdrive the Warfedale and it should do you well.
Congrats on your score!
Thanks 2much. I'd been hankering after an Image sub to match the speakers, but $1600.00 as against $279.00 was a powerful argument against.
