He's got a very dedicated crew behind him. Jamie and Wes have been running a race team for years and know a thing or two about it all now.
Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem

Absolutely MT,Jamie's no bullshit,Tell it like it is approach to racing will serve Roman well,We are behind him 100% and pushed very hard to get everything in place for him to be able to race on the 250 last weekend and have every confidence he will be a success.

Ahh, it makes sense now! Roman is a great kid, and yes he will be a talent esp with Jamie behind him. Jamie is a top bloke and always willing to help no bs.

Great to see a youngster getting support from an early age and being taught the right way. Im trying to do the same down south...... new riders to be announced shortly. Good luck for the future Roman

125GP is going to be a great class to watch this winter.
Roman is impressive. He was pretty amazing on his Chinese 250 at Taupo too....
    That new 250 looks promising.

he's required to wear a dayglo vest to compete in this class at the beginning, had to laugh when they had to tie a big clump of the surplus in a knot at the back cause he's so tiny you could fit nearly two of him in the one vest. that alone is helping with the power to weight ratio.
he's also always got a filthy big smile on his face and part of a great team so watch this space.....

Roman's a great kid, and has a good crew behind him.
It takes a incredible amount of effort/passion/drive and the right people behind you to succeed in this sport.
I think its a little early, to say if he's going to be something special. Its up to him.
Sometimes the worse thing you do is say they are going to be something special. As they then expect things to be easy.
Just a general rant, and certainly not aimed at Roman.
I've just seen it too many times, often people overlook others, who have no support.

Great to hear that Roman's getting good support, hope to be watching at Round 2, awesome kid!

Dead right Kyle,But I think the big difference here is that Jamie's not gonna blow smoke up his arse and tell him he's fast when he's 2 or more seconds of the pace like happens all too often to others,Pretty sure Jamie will keep him well grounded and work on improvement when others do not.

I like jamie, he's the man, alot more relaxed than most. It will be great to watch him grow and grow.

People are different, some need to be boosted and tell them they are the man. Generally speaking the more successful one's just get down to work and get it done.

WORLD of difference between smoke and encouragment. The old saying of learning to walk before running springs to mind. We aim to take some of those who have begun running..... and teach them to walk a little better at MCC this year. So many have never learned the fundementals.
