Just check with the rulebook that the bike you are importing is eligible for buckets first ,
Air cooled 2 stroke 125cc 24mm carb size
    Water cooled 2 stroke 100cc
    4 stroke 150cc
There is an allowance for reboring.

Any shipping company can arrange the import, but as Axkil says make sure its clean, no mud, seeds or insects .
My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues

Great Bike, looks good for Bucket racing. Bikes that are run on Kart tracks (mostly done in the North Island) need to be comprehensively nyloned to protect the track. Without it you will not be able to race, here is a guide to what to do. http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...otection-guide

In this picture you can see some of the nylon crash protection, it is there to protect the track, if you're clever you can arrange it to protect the bike a bit too. Most bikes that are run on Kart tracks are run naked as you will soon fall off and break the plastic fairings.

Bucket racing and falling off go hand in hand, its not unknown for someone to fall off and still win the race.

As you can also see in the photo we run a type of 3 wheel bucket as well for 2-up racing which is very popular with the spectators

You will have to paint each bodywork component a different colour, preferably at the beach on a windy day, so as to fit in.
Also, hit the tank with a hammer a few times & don't paint where the damage occurs.
You may have a few issues if you are doing it just for fun. Here in NZ bucket racing is only slightly less serious than Moto GP.

Well it is the Premier class

He'll probably fall back to Moto GP. None of those guys are all that serious.

But it's true. It had nothing to do with the gp, I was on a fucking scooter with a bit of pipe welded on it, I expected no better.
It's the closed set of weirdos that are happy to hide all sorts of exotic & expensive shit in their engines under a shield of nonchalance by leaving the bodywork in a mess in an effort to disguise their efforts that I couldn't stand.

So now you just want to compliment everyone.
The rules are ok with exotic and expensive shit, its just the outsiders looking in that think we should all be on clapped out Honda cg110's , buckets has always been flash on the inside

So if you can't stand us and you are cured of us. What are you still doing here? Spreading negativity. Is that really the sort of person you want to be? The Nick Smith of KB.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
