I'll confess it's not a bad place to be in traffic. Quiet (until you flatten the batteries anyway). Bit of a giggle consuming no fuel in what could be the most fuel hungry traffic (stop start).

That said, yeesh, it's a snail even planting it a bit, although apparently there's a power mode which wholy defeats the purpose to me... Boss has one, drive it occasionally... Just about need a degree to operate it as it's quite different in startup. Euro switched around stalks don't help either (other vehicle is Xtrail, and my own is a Hiace).

Haven't driven a manual since probably 08 ish, and that was only a little when learning. Don't even know if I could drive one properly now, but autos suit me fine (most driving is around Auckland anyway). Bikes are for fun, vehicles are for carting stuff.

Im one of the few that can drive a manual at work. Wont be long and it will be forgotten for car drivers. Guess thats why some have so much trouble working out the clutch on motorcycles when learning.

What a load of old cock! My kids learned to ride at 4 and 5. They got bikes with gears around 7 and had no problem. Some people are just spastic, manual cars have nothing to do with it.

and giving the option of allowing them to be spastic on the road (by allowing imports of automatic vehicles) is a great idea. Cuntington!

    Gezz you got old.

It is very much about lifestyle changes. Back in your day things were done manually and you had big property's. You used equipment to look after them. These days this does not happen.

Yep, when I was a kid we had to mow a kiwi quarter acre with a push mower every Saturday.
As long as I can pay a bloke $38 to rock up & mow my lawns every week I will never own another lawnmower again.
