    Auckland compliance help

    Hey guys,

Im currently up in Auckland trying to get a bike complied, haven't actually made it to the compliance centre unfortunately due to a absolutely ridiculous week of unexpected events and issues, but I was wondering if anyone (in the `know) would mind taking a quick look over the bike and letting me know if theres anything more I need to do before it goes in on Monday (fingers crossed)!

Its a 1992 ZZR400 I picked up for cheap as a project, to date Ive:
    - put new fairings on it
    - given it a general cleanup
    - bled all the breaks and replaced with good fluid
    - changed break pads
    - repaired rear calliper which was muted
    - cleaned carbs
    - fixed numerous electrical issues (bike sat outside for years)
    - new battery
    - new indicators with e-marks

Its also got a new rear tire and a good front tire and plenty of meat on the disk. I think the shocks feel ok and they don't seem to be leaking that I can see..

Can anyone think of anything else I should check?

    Regards,
    Aaron

Yeah I figured I would need to but I assumed VTNZ would do it in their inspection? (Don't really mind paying) Otherwise if someone has a printable copy of the form ill do it myself.

Also because I didn't buy it off the last registered owner, apparently I need a statutory declaration (signed by a JP) saying the bike is mine and a form from the police to say its not of interest to them? Does this sound about right?

I went into to ask them and they didn't know what the fuck I was on about..

Call up VINZ in Mt. Wellington and ask to talk to a chap called Paul, he'll sort you out no worries.
