    The Champs

I was thinking that it was pretty lame that nobody has bothered to post a tribute to the guys and gal that are our new road race champs, but then waiting for somebody else to do it makes me just as slack so here it is.

Awesome effort to you bloody amazing champion racers and also to all the others that participated in the series.
It's pretty cool to see such a young superbike champ, how long has it been since a NZ'er under 30 won our main title ?
What an achievement, lets hope young Mr Hassan will be able to build on this and go further with his talent.
It's also clear Al Hoogenboezm has oodles of talent, the world is his oyster as well and of course Avalon Biddle is already using her impressive ability on the world stage.

The level of dedication and sacrifice these competitors, their support crews and their families have made is mind boggling.

But spare a thought to all the 'also rans' of the series ... anyone that has been bitten by the race bug knows what that does to the pocket and the family life ..... so I take my hat of to you all.

I have no proof at all, but yes, if you look at our young guns of recent times (Last 30 years for me), who rode successfully internationally, I don't think any of them were 20 when they won Superbike or F1 in New Zealand, if they actually won on a Championship Superbike at all.

Also well done to Ben Rosendaal in Pro Twin, Tim McArther in 250 Production, Sam Davidson in 125GP, Adam Unsworth/ Stu Dawe on the Chair.

Also to the winners in their respective classes in Development and Post Classic.

It was a great series to follow on CTAS. I also enjoyed a mobile in field seat at Taupo picking up some racers who were trying hard... a little too hard at times.

Well done to all the organisers of NZSBK 2015 too.
And a big ups goes to Seth Devereux who made hundreds of hours of HD video to get our fantastic sport all over the internet and in the faces of people who wouldn't normally see we exist....

Finally, thank you Spyda for all the commentary. Without that it is very difficult to keep a track of what is going on.
