Bigdave's suggeston is probally the best sofar...how far would you go in modding it?
HD run fairly low CR as standard....what about a small sprintex supercharger...running low pressure.....superchargers are more suited to long stoke engines than turbo's....couple of thou should see the job sorted...maybe alittle more if you take into account you might need to pay a knowit all to re-jet your carb?
Only really one option for you mate.Originally Posted by scumdog

Yeah, the old Horsepower vs Cost graph might be taking a vertical climb when you get into THAT kind of 'improvement', still, I'd love to have my Sporty 'sporting' that kind of displacement - and looking stock.Originally Posted by dangerous

Best bang for bucks??? Get a NOS kit for it..... but don't forget to pull over at the next pub to let the fellas on their jappa's catch up!!!
the fellas on their jappa's will only be draging the chain cos they are picking up the HD engine parts that were left all over the rd after the NOS kicked inOriginally Posted by 2much

Hi Qiuckest way upgrade you ignition, cam, exhaust, carb tuneing kit, then decide where you want your speed, and change your pullys /sprockets. much more than that put it in the shop and watch the dollars grow to a new high. or test ride a buell buy it and customise it that would be cheaper.
Hmm, the extra 10k to close the price gap between the two bikes would go a long way to making my Sporty go a bit quicker - and I like the little red bleeder!Originally Posted by billyboy
