Just scored a free promotional copy of Peter Mitchell's "New Zealand Motorcycle Atlas", courtesy of Kiwi Rider magazine.
What a brilliant wee book! About 100 recommended rides, including some on gravel for adventurous types. A very brief blurb with points of interest for each and key info like distance, ride time, where to find fuel and where to watch for "revenue collectors"! Just a bit bigger than A5 size, very well laid out and spiral bound so it can be opened to any of the excellent maps in back (with tour routes highlighted) and slipped into the clear pocket of your tank bag. Keep an eye out for it and check one over. It will become a really valuable resource for me. Congratulations Peter and to all the team who helped you with it.
