Harley riders don't wave to anybody ... should we ALL ignore the unsociable pricks ... ??? any reasons why we should try to be friendly/sociable .. ???

Still, whether they're competent or not, always treat em like just another human being, just doing their job.
I always show extra caution and if necessary slow down near schools. Even if not speeding. Even on school holidays or at night.

In holidays they are often still meeting places or play places. Especially primaries with playgrounds.

At night, especially on the weekend it pays to be wary of people drinking on school grounds.

Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.

Don't know about cops in NZ now but the few I knew in the UK were bikers first and cops second. They only did the job because it allowed them to ride.

Asked a cop here in Singapore what he rode in his spare time and he looked at me as if I was mad. Definitely just a job to the guys here.

And I don't wave to anyone, not that sort of culture here. For the majority a bike is just a cheap(ish) form of transport.
