Went for a 4 hr ride in the forest yesterday, was wet and slippery, just how I like it.

Friday I rode from Whakatane to Taihape and had lunch - then went south and hung a left at Vinegar Hill down to Ashurst, over the Saddle Road, up the back roads to Dannevirke, then up the main road to Napier.
Saturday a run around Hawke's Bay with mates I haven't seen for a while.
Sunday a different run around Hawke's Bay with other mates I hadn't seen for a while
Monday left Napier real early and came home via Taupo and Rotorua - early enough to beat the shit weather home.
Fine weather Friday Saturday and Sunday. Monday - wet roads to Rotorua where the rain set in ... but only a few wind gusts ... the wind came through after me.
