Makes sense I guess, but would still like to see it in gore. Was in invers most of the day and couldn't wait to get out.

What a shame, best street racing after Paeroa.I was at Wyndham a couple of years back with a mate who is a flag marshall at Philip Island. He could not believe what a dangerous circuit it was from both a rider and a spectator safety point of view, didnt stop raving on for several days after, sissy.Only in Southland eh?
The Gore proposal looks good, but what is the proposed length as looks a bit long to me.I hope the spectators can get as close to the circuit as Wyndham was.

I'm told that as of last friday, there were only a couple of signatures to get to finalise the Invercargill circuit.
Very slightly longer than Wyndham, new tarmac....Wide and smooth.
Apparently, the contractor who laid it, an ex speedway competitor, said at the time "someone's going to use this for a circuit...."
Better pit layout too, no full lap to come in so more time in the programme.

You'll generally get better weather further inland from Invercargill.
