    Auckland Bucket numbers

People have been asking about available numbers for Auckland.

this is where I think it is taking entries for the last and current season into account.
Numbers nobody has used are safe to grab.
Numbers that were used last year may lead to conflicts at some stage as there are people who only roll up once a season.

the way to claim a number you want is to turn up with it on your bike and race with it.
try and get a number that isn't used in any class if at all possible and stick to two digit numbers, if we have to revert to manual lap scoring three digit numbers make things more difficult than they need to be.

Ah good you've left 27 free to me. I won't be racing for the foreseeable , or actually in Auckland, but you can keep it reserved out of admiration.

It's almost worth putting Dave's number on a bike for a day just so that he can't have it if he ever comes up, since we run the GP as well he might lose it there too.

From the first post in this thread

try and get a number that isn't used in any class if at all possible and stick to two digit numbers, if we have to revert to manual lap scoring three digit numbers make things more difficult than they need to be.

The reason we do things that way is it stops people reserving numbers for bikes that never turn up. I'd quite like to hang onto 44 for Michelle's 150 that is in the shed so I don't have to change the numbers on it if it ever gets used again for example.
Unfortunately we ran out of numbers when we did that.

If you see a number on that list that you think is available, check the race results going back to the date I posted the list and if it looks clear grab it.
I think they may have a more up to date list at sign on.

sorry, need a translation. do you mean to say you are in Titirangi, Auckland, and heading back to Wellywood tomorrow? that's how I read it, but think maybe you're in someone's tits (don't let your wife find out).

Koba - can you please tell his wife for me bwahahaha

we're down there for the meeting after this one, but no bikes, no time, and flight leaves at 3pm, but we might be social and come say hi and catch a cab from there (lol, do cabs travel out that far?)

Friday morning. means I get to wander around by myself, and somehow cope with a bunch of drunks later. (M&B are coming down for it too) - not much fun being allergic to beer and hanging out in pubs at that time of day by myself is too tragic lol (figure will go into town, wander around for a few hours or the whole time and then curl up with a book).

you going to it too? I owe you beers
