    Who's got a new Indian?

So - who purchased a new Scout or one of the other models.

    Rave away please.

I see Cockram Motorcycles are selling Indians in Christchurch - I missed that one. http://cockrammotorcycles.co.nz/

KB'er Navy Boy has a Scout. I've ridden with him and was pretty impressed with how it went. The sound of peg scraping on the Coro Loop over our comms was quite loud in the tight stuff . He's now living a bit closer to you in Blenheim.

Nelson Classic bike museum still open?
funny how the newer bikes have a similar style from the same manufacturer, wonder why that is?

never really been a fan of Indian motorcycles but the odd one stands out, like this one from OC
(It's not my favourite but it's all I could find)
its the oversized mudguards on the standard models-yes it's the style, it just do anything for me.

I'd probably sell a kidney for one of these.

Even then I'd probably need a loan arranger.

Dat's just Bewdiful! I've ridden a 2015 Scout, the proper one with 1135 cc's not the deranged little ass'd ones the 60's with just 999cc's.
Loved it's response and cornering, took it for a longish ride an hour or so, the poor old salesman was very glad to see me rocking back up.
Price was a bit step for me. But.

Every Indian I have seen just looks all kinds of ugly.

Harley really has that style sorted. I would take a Harley any day if I was looking for a cruiser.

Indian have several nice models as do Victory...both brands (in my opinion) have the 'what were they thinking' models. The Fatbob and the Muscle in the Harley range are two standout bikes for me. But having only ever ridden one cruiser ever, my thoughts on them are purely from an aesthetic point of view.

Aye +1, quite like some Sportsters - an underrated bike, often located at the rear of a store

It is amazing how just a few farkles/tweaks/exhaust/mods/paint can change a mediocre looking model into something awesome, no matter what it is......
