    $1 reserve new Canon 600D + lens

Got a nice new Canon 600D with an 18-55 lens with a new Canon Copier for the office. I already have a nice Canon DSLR, so I thought that I would auction this freebie off with the proceeds split 50/50 to UNICEF and World Vision.

    Linky link....

Good on you for donating the proceeds to charity.

Something for you to bear in mind though.

Please don't donate to UNICEF. They tend to spend most dollars on public marketing and football.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Appreciate the links to the charity spending guys. A bit disappointed about UNICEF...if that is correct. World Vision NZ state the 78c in the dollar go to their causes, Tear Fund supposedly 80c odd goes directly to the benefactors. In retrospect, should have given the UNICEF 50% to the Sallies or Make a Wish Foundation if UNICEF are that inefficient with the money. I always thought that they were one of the better ones. Suppose I could swap and give it to the Salvation Army instead and no one needs to know. Will do some research.
