    Right.

So when you call the cops and want us to rush to 13 Insignificant Street, we'll just drive around for hours wondering where the hell it is.

Wow rtc, I saw so many options with this post I initially wasn't sure where to start. However, I'll just go with: I think Maha didn't intend it to be taken so seriously.

No, smart cops would type the address into the Cars GPS and they'll be there asap...I don't understand your logic here?

How did you get on pre GPS?

I see you were last logged in at 12:32 today? do you have to think about your answer?

You don't need phone mounted on handlebars to use GPS, type destination in google maps, pop in a earphone, mobile in inside pocket and get voice prompts to your destination. Riding with earphones is possibly contravertial but much less distracting than visual prompts/directions.

Depends, if you calmly state you're deciding whether to use .338 or .50 cal ammo on the intruder...the excitement level goes way up on the other end of the line

    Now, that's dirty pool!
Not fair on our Popo control room staff, they know not what to do then.
But it most certainly does get a far quicker response time and someone most definitely arrives, looking for You, not the fucking arsehole who caused the problem.

I toyed with the idea of the phone mounted on the bars simply for the GoPro app. The remote battery doesn't last very long, and the app shows the view the camera is looking at. Might be handy to see when a big hairy bug has splattered himself across the centre of the lense. The app also is far easier to operate the camera than the remote.

Dont know how well the camera would hold up.

Had a ram mount for the GPS on the ZZR and it worked great. Used it for a few years touring all over Europe. Am just in the process of getting one for the new girl. They're not really that expensive and last for years.
