    Cambodia anyone?

    Hi guys

I have not been active here for a while, but some may recall me...

I received the attached from a mate and work collegue...

Owen lives in Cambodia and has been running tours for a few years, I personally have not done one but I know a few people who have and they always come back with glowing reports.

Owen and his wife have a reputation around the region for their no fuss charity work and managing donations to orpanages, schools, neady villages etc. 100% of a donation reaches the need, with individual donars recognised (Or kept discrete)... Donors often revisit places they have contributed to.

In Cambbodia a liittle donation goes a long way.

This would be an adventure and for a good cause.

    Cheers

    LBD

    Letter won't load, just me?

A mate went there and loved it, ended up staying longer than planned and going back again, both times doing orphanage volunteer work and a bit of fund raising.

Unfortunately not, but Izy in the link I put up. She started a website collating the experiences from herself and others volunteering over there with the goal (I think!) of encouraging other people to go do it, but I can't remember what it is called. Will see if I can find it.

Might have better luck on my computer at home later on, this one has been a bit funny lately, keen to give it a read.

Edit: I think this is it: http://www.generousnomads.com/ Looks like she's run out of steam on it though sadly.
