I'm around 5'11", the standard screen height is a little low but I've adjusted it higher with the Batzen Adjustable Windscreen Risers.
I just fitted the Turoro oiler a couple of weeks ago, working great and really nice getting home and not having to think about lubing the chain.
I'm currently trying to decide the best way to set up a connector so I can jump start the bike without having to get access to the battery, the battery is hard to get to and you can't bump start a DCT bike.
I bought the bike just after a 4 week holiday at the end of summer. This means that I won't do a really huge amount of riding until next summer when I'm taking 5 weeks off work so I can head to the South Island for Bike Week, Vincent County Rally & Burt Munro Rally - plus some touring about. But I have been out for a few rides and run up approaching 4,000 kilometres. I'm really enjoying the bike and find it great on the tarmac and on the gravel. I think it will prove to be a good choice for touring/exploring/moto-camping/etc. I'll be down at the Cold Kiwi again this year, looking forward to checking out their new site and hoping it is much better than the Horopito site.
Last weekend I spent a couple of nights in Hastings:
Good weekend, even if a little frosty on Saturday morning:
I did get lousy fuel economy, but it was a fun ride (315km each way + some riding around). Changing down a couple of gears and opening the throttle makes short work of overtaking which is handy when you have limited opportunities on the Taupo-Napier highway.
looks great Mark, thats a lot of farkall --- glad to see its being ridden too!
Glad you survived camping in the feral part of hastings lol. PM me if your in town again... Good camp at bayview right by sea that would have been less frosty and safer lol....
Should get the full termi system for it tho

Honda what have you done!!!!
The Africa Twin was starting to look like an option. A more sensible 19” front wheel for the more road biased adventure sports with its bigger tank. And they found another 7nm of torque lower down.
But for 2024 it will ONLY be available with the DCT transmission. I know they did good job of it but it’s just something else that can break and no clutch for slow speed moves. Deal breaker sorry .
I guess they’ve done their market research on whose buying their bikes I guess….
