Where to put a payndisplay ticket for a scoot - according to Fair Go

Looking forward to seeing this in a few minutes. Bets on what their verdict will be?

Bated breath...ahhh, take photo of ticket on bike as proof according to Aucks council. Seems simple enough, but has anyone ever had an infringement notice for "missing" ticket when you have photographic proof?

The display of your parking ticket has the same importance of the display of your WOF/Rego label.

If it is NOT displayed .. you get a ticket.

If you put it on your seat ... WRITE your rego number on it. (who else but YOU would write YOUR rego number on a Payndisplay ticket .. [seen on ANOTHER VEHICLE] .. ??)

I put a PD ticket on my bike outside a café. Watched a guy pull it out from the passenger strap and put it on his dash.
Meter guy spotted him doing it gave me the thumbs up and wrote him a ticket while he was walking away.

I didn't like meter men but since I have residents parking on 2 vehicles and people who don't fill the parks I am glad they are around. I don't mind as much loosing the park when I see the car has been ticketed. 3 resident parks outside my house and I am the only person with resident parking permit plus one of my cars is in the garage and I still have trouble getting the other vehicle parked at night.

In Wellington? You shouldn't have got away with that. Quote WCC parking website, motorcycle and scooter section :
    You cannot park:

in pay-and-display spaces (as you can't securely attach your receipt for wardens to easily find)

You can park two bikes on a metered space, but there's bugger-all of them left.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Tucked it into the passenger hand strap. Easy to see it. Cuba street a couple of years ago. Don't see how they can tell someone who pays road tax and pays for a park they cant use it if the ticket can be seen. Didn't get me a ticket so wasn't worried about it.

Sorry, there's a bylaw in Wellington that prevents bikes from using pay and display parks. You should have received a ticket as well.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    Ok accepted.
So if you don't know about a bylaw as I didn't how are you expected to abide. The ticket machine says bikes excluded from parking? No signs saying it. I didn't know and visitors wont know. Bike parks full of scooters then what? Central Courtney area is getting hard to find parks now as there is a lack of room in the parks. Last time I used the one where vertical bungee was I came back and my bike was boxed by with crap scooters, one so close I couldn't take bike off stand.
