Check it's getting the right fuel level in the bowls with the carbs on
The fuel taps collapse so tape the prime button to get all the fuel flow you can
    Diaphragms
Carb bowl vent tubes all free?

I have a CDI but won't be home for a while (only been there one day in the last month or two)
I have pick up coils too

Just quickly check the plugs on the fuse box and cdi are clean and not wobbly. A mate was having issues with his 400N recently and it was one of the fuse box plugs

Sorry assumed the thread had gone dead haha

I don't have any tubing to check the float heights but I will get some and do that.
Diaphragms look fine to me, I know they are hard to eye'agnose, but my gut tells me they are not the issue.
Im hoping so, I used almost an entire can of carb clean on them.. Don't actually have access to an air compressor atm and have been quoted around $100 to get them properly cleaned (and also told thats unlikely to solve the problem)..

You and me both mate! Im sort of stuck here until the bike is fixed haha If at some point you find yourself in the vicinity and with some gear I would really appreciate some further help!

    Cheers

Just to update everyone, I think Ive found the issue, pulled the needles today and inspected them closely. Their quite worn.. After shimming them up 1 washer the problem has been almost entirely resolved.

I still find it interesting how fast the problem manifested itself!

Ducatilover, I did I swear, their squeaky clean! Just a little worn apparently

They do wear the needle/seats quite fast. Lots of keihins from that era do.
I have a set of good needles but I'm a cunt and won't share
