    Let's have another go.

Having no further need for my GL as a dirt bike, which was hands down the best laugh per minute bike I've owned to date, I thought I'd just chuck slicks and nylon on it jacked up and soft as hell.

Got the CT90 wheel fitted up with a slick tonight. I'm out of action with a sore back at the moment, so that's quite the achievement as far as effort goes.

Only thing I haven't got sitting here to get it on track, is axle spacers to reduce the bearing ID on the CBR600 rear hoop...or a sprocket for the same wheel.

Anyone got a lathe I can turn some up on?

Pulled the wheel out of the stack today. It's fucken heavy!

So I'm going away from that plan...kind of. I'm thinking of chopping the spokes and hub out of it, wrapping the middle with a strip of steel, drilling some holes and lacing it to the GL hub.

Use the heavy wheel and use the Catherine wheel fireworks method to get you started. As long as you keep the speed up you will be fine.
