36 spokes, so I foolishly did the maths for 37 gaps between the spokes. Don't need to do that when it goes round in a circle. Caught that before I drilled any holes. But when I redid the calculations, I entered the circumference wrong in the calculator, and didn't recheck before I started drilling. Took quite some time to figure the spoke pattern out before realising the wrong number of spoke holes.

Young guy I work with won a B grade race on a normal bucket without using the front brake. Reckon I'll give him a whirl first.
