No more loud TV commercials?

Am i the only one who thinks some ads are consistently louder than others? This technology may help but im pretty sure some ads blast out of your TV no matter how quiet or loud the previous one was.

TV adverts are 5% to 10% louder and done on purpose... we use to record adtverts 5% louder than other programs and docos we made... has something to do with marketing and subliminal etc

I'd like to take that apart but I'm not quite sure how. I do know I'm going to use it one day though.

Yeah ads have always been louder,which is why I always turn down the volume when they are on.

All good, my remote is flash as and even comes with a volume control and if things get too dire I can change the channel!

Ours does not work. Any button we push changes the channel to 0
