Do we get what we derserve?

results from the MNZ conference elections,

Election result from MNZ Inc AGM- Queenstown Today
    MNZ PRESIDENT
    GLEN WILLIAMS 347 votes
    PAUL STEWART 186 votes

SOUTH ISLAND ON ROAD BOARD MEMBER
    SETH DEVEREUX 150 votes
    DAVE MORRIS 49 votes

533 votes for president, I think MNZ has something like 4500 members, just over 10% bothered to vote,

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.

i wonderered about that too Noddyrog, fact is they used to do conferneces around the country, ashburton, taupo paml north all pricks of places to get to then they did one north and one south, chch was south but since the earhtquakes it beacme too costly.
fact is queenstown is the second biggest si airport, good supply of flights and right now is off season so it's actually cheaper to do there....

It still would have been cheaper to have it in Huntly.

Not biggest in length. NO lights ... and restricted to daylight hours only.

The highest number of aircraft movements per day of any NZ airport though ... (this includes helicopters though)

Discounts or not ... still dearer than wellington. (but who wants to attend a conference in wellington)

But NOT cheap to do anything ... NZ tourist capital. (and doesn't smell like rotten eggs)

The Bar hours in Queenstown are better. The Huntly airport is quite restricted ... apparently ...

Huntly does not have an airport

They should do the voting off Facebook likes
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.
