    Viewing A MP4 Format Disc.

A "inherited" a disc copy of the movie Road that is in MP4 format--I have only been able to view this on my desktop using Windows Media Player--I would really like to see this on my TV-Can someone point me in the right direction--For what its worth I have WiFi and Chromecast on my TV and the Mrs had a Samsung Tablet.
I am not that tech savvy so please be kind with your advice-Thanks

If you are using Google Chrome try this: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d.../related?hl=en

After installing that you should be able to open the video in the browser and then stream that to chromecast.

I had trouble streaming individual MP4 files to chromecast so just loaded them into a media server (plex) and streamed them that way. Complicated but works.
