Is Sepp Blatter the new Houdini ? I thought he'd be the first one hauled out of bed .

Blatter should go. Even if he is clean himself he presides over an organisation, which anyone who has been around football for a while, knows is dirty. It's systematic corruption and he's in charge of the system.

I can't bring myself to give a shit about this whole thing. It's a sport organisation, already the least important thing in the world. Doing deals with already-corrupt governments, so nothing new there. Who honestly gives a shit, and why?

BREAKING: Swiss Police confirm that, when arrested, all seven FIFA officials threw themselves on the ground and pretended to be injured!

Also: In tomorrow's annual FIFA meeting, it is expected Mr Blatter will be re-elected to his post for a fifth term.
In a statement yesterday evening in which he said FIFA is going through a difficult period, such misconduct 'has no place in football and I need to be re-elected to sort this out, it will only take me a year.....or if I buy a faster shredder, 6 months.

Foot-soccer-ball. Something that used to be about a third way decent, turned into a fucking fiasco by corruption, hollywooding, riotous fans... and a game seemingly evolved to elicit more draws than any other sport.

Someone had the right idea when they picked the fucking thing up and ran with it.

I suspect that he's been smart enough not to ask for bribes, he probably just takes a small percentage commission for negotiating multi-billion dollar commercial deals and then uses the money that FIFA gets from those deals to bribe* national associations to vote for him next time around.

*Except that it's not a "bribe" to give a tin-pot island nation $2mil for a new stadium, it's "investing in the game". Oceania, which includes us, is going to vote for him as president again and it makes me fucking sick that some of the fees that I pay to Auckland Football Federation no doubt find their way to an organisation that's going to support him.

Suddenly those "Old Farts" in blazers don't seem such a problem, eh?

    1) If Blatter didn't know what was going on he is incredibly stupid and needs to go

    2) Blatter is continuing to deny it all ... which means either he is incredibly stupid (because he doesn't believe he'll get caught) ... or he wasn't involved in any shape or form and he knows they will find nothing on him .. (in that case see 1 above).

    Blatter should go ..

Logical conclusion! - One can delegate everything, except one's accountability! - Bye Sepp! -
