    Shoei X Spirit II (M)

    Hi guys,

I have a Shoei X Spirit II (streamliner graphic) that needs a new home. It's brand new, and never ever been used. Comes in the box with two pin lock ready visors(clear and dark smoke), pin lock insert, breathe guard, chin spoiler, and carry sack. Size is a Medium.

Now the sad story behind the sale..

I purchased this beautiful helmet on Saturday from a dealer in Auckland. Fits me perfectly and was on special so I couldn't resist. The one huge mistake on my part is I didn't take my glasses along for the fitting, so when I got home I gave it a try. Unfortunately the glasses don't sit in the correct position for me, no matter how I position it. So I went back to the dealer first thing this morning before work. To my utter surprise, I was told that they do not do exchanges on helmets as from a safety standpoint they can't be sure of its condition. I tried my best to argue my case but to no avail. I mean, it's not even been two days and it's brand new in the original purchased condition. But anyway, I know there is someone out there who will appreciate this brilliant helmet from one of the worlds best.

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Yeh spokes, I've got a Shark RSR2 (and an older one too) but been told you don't want to use a $1200 helmet and have a track tumble and have to chuck it because of a light scratch? So want something cheap enough to chuck away but expensive enough to be safe in? HJC RPHA 10 Plus are on good special at revzilla but rather keep the dosh in Kiwiland LOL

try Richard at Motoone, tell him I sent you. See if he can get one of the ones he got me, was an old colour so it was really cheap.

I know Richard well. We have ridden dirt and I get a bit of stuff from him, just bought a Leatt STXrr Road race Neck brace of him last week because I have a little neck damage after an off in 06.

Anyway I have made a commitment to the op for a price so will honor that at this stage
Better not Hijack his thread any more either LOL

The centre visor lock is really handy and easy to operate/pop up the visor, and the seal it creates is probably better than dearer brands.

Would have assumed if you claimed you had assumed the design would be suitable for wearing with glasses unless advertised as not being so then they would be required to exchange or refund as long as in perfect condition under the trading act.

    You got it...
Don't really want to pay the extra for the flash graphics when the while (or black) one will feel the same inside and protect you the same.

I tried the glasses angle but had no luck. Shoei don't specifically say that it supports the use of glasses. Actually I haven't come across a brand who lists this as a feature. But have heard reviewers (like revzilla) mention the use of glasses on some models.

Initially that's what my thinking was. Don't get me wrong, I love it in black, but the Lorenzo graphics are just mean as..

Guys, I'm dropping the price on the Shoei to $800, but am firm at this. Cheers.
