    "Top Gun's" poster bike!

One of the most iconic sports bikes of the 80's and the bike Tom Cruise rode in Top Gun of course! The 1984 GPZ900R was a revolutionary design that became the immediate predecessor of the modern-day sport bike. Developed in secret over six years, It was the first bike to reach 150 mph from the crate and the world's first 16 valve liquid cooled engine, years ahead of rival manufacturers' efforts. Whether you want to dust off the aviators and flying jacket or just want an iconic sports bike then look no further!

This Bike is still all original, with good looks and is a real comfortable bike to ride, a dream runner. Best suits a taller person - it is a large bike and quite a stretch to the handle bars for smaller folk!

    ODO - 43200 Km
    Current WOF - Nov 15
    Current REG - 20/07/15

It has a crack in the fairing on the left side, a small scratch on the tank LHS, and a slight scratch down the exhaust RHS. However you would have to look closely to see these issues ... overall tho, it is in quite good condition - probably 7/10. Could use a strip down and clean if you were of the mind and ability to do so.

It has recently had a full service, tyres and alignment, battery and a decent clean.

**** Freeee **** Jacket and Helmet in near new condition.

I can't see the price on tapatalk.
On the other hand if it really were the poster bike I'm sure Indy would make a bid.

He thinks it's worth 6k because it's the same model as the bike that featured in the most homo erotic movie of the 90s.

DO NOT BLASPHEME AGAINST THE GOODNESS THAT IS TOP GUN. You have been warned.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

Why is it blaspheme if someone claims Top Gun has homosexual themes?

Back in the day when they were released much sperm was spilt in pants over the cutting edge styling and technology. Cam chain on the right side - god stuff, etc etc.

For a moment I thought it was the movie bike. But re-read the post.

A good milestone bike for Kawasaki (aided by the movie). Value? I have no idea. Market will decide.

I am very sure though that you will be offered at least $5 and a bag of chips.
