When I first arrived here, hopped on the motorway and flashed someone doing 80 in the outside lane (still thought I was in Europe lol). Promptly got brake tested - I had my 2seconds but the guy behind didn't.

Now on the bike, it sit in their mirror then flick my indicator on. I find it works 2/3 times.

Not explicitly - because our rode code was written in the days of the horse and cart.

We do have: illegal to overtake on left, keep as close to the left as possible and fookin logic.

Ever wondered why our motorways are less congested but slower? Probably about time we started driving properly...

Should do but there is no real point when the cops are not there to police it.

You need a rule to tell you not to be a fucking prick? Did your parents not teach you manners?

Of course we do, keep left and don't impede flow of faster traffic, or words to that effect. Most folks think we don't have it because it's not enforced with enthusiasm.

Never been to Auckland then? The answer to that would be self-evident.

Check the UK road code, it's rules regarding motorways are very different.

My question was about the Auckland drivers comment as well...

You only need to look at an escalator to see keeping to the side is a general concept most over here don't grasp, but it's not like it really adds much time to a journey anyway.

And if you think the North is bad, absolutely no one down South does it. Half the time people even fuck up passing lanes and slow vehicle bays No use stressing though.

That video is gold too haha. The fuzz was pretty patient with them too.

Common sense or courtesy obviously needs reinforcement for bottle babies.

Yes escalator etiquette is learned promptly in London. Maybe Westfield could do a global education campaign
