I think you missed the point, they ride within themselves at the IOM and the other Irish road events they do not try to ride 100% as the IOM is not the place that rewards mistakes.
I have never insinuated they are not great and supremely talented.

Sport needs personalities. He has been great for motorsport.

I think it will happen, course knowledge seems to count for a lot.
The IOM does not seem to reward brashness for long.

    There are exceptions of course.

But this is what I just googled about Guy in his IOM debut
His best lap was 122.10 mph which, at the time, was the fastest ever lap set by a newcomer and almost 6 mph quicker than the previous best.
Staying with the team for 2005, Martin made further strides forward and at the TT was the only rider to finish all five of his races inside the top six. A debut podium in the Senior TT.
So were you just mistaken or merely trolling or did you have a actual point?

If you can call any part of that crash lucky..... its just as well they ripped out the fence and trees first, then protected the stump with padding that could have been far far worse.

Saw the Martek in the flesh the other day in the UK. Sure is odd.... in an old skool 1990 GSXR1100 street fighter sort of way. Nicely done, just a little odd!

Guy Martin has had surgery and is expected to leave hospital "in a few days".
