Cops should've known better to pull a stiff through the court system. If UC at risk, pull them out. Not much more can be done. When things head to court, they know they had to have followed procedures and processes correctly otherwise evidential chains broken etc. If cops were allowed to legally fake warrants and charges then no one will start trusting the pieces of paper they are written on.

That said UC's have my sympathy and respect - fark that for a job. The irony in many UC's being the only ones in NZ who legally smoke, I mean "simulate smoking" pot.

One hopes that the same shit is no longer happening with police informants:
