If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Fitzgerald Motors
193 Waterloo Rd
Hornby
Best place by far...
Don't go to Trevor Pierce Yamaha, they will take your bike without telling you that they don't have a WOF guy on site, then charge you the labour for one of their guys to ride it across town to a testing centre, where they will fail the WOF cause the mechanic is a cockwomble, then ride it back and fit an UGLY numberplate light and a battery without consulting you, then charge you the labour for said cockwomble to ride back to the testing centre. All up a 450 warrant from memory, wankers, my fault for going to the nearest shop as I didn't have time to ride it over to hornby meself.
bowhill rd service station if you live out east. have to book in tho
Roydvale Vehicle Testing Station (independent AFAIK) have done my blade the last few years, no complaints. I just gave them a ring, they're doing motorcycle warrants this Sunday (not all the testers have a motorcycle license, so pays to ring ahead), 9am-3pm. Gotta get one myself in the morning, see ya there
McLeans Motors on Main South Rd is where i got my last WOF
Got a WOF today from VINZ at the airport, they were quick and cheerful
yeehaaa sunshine
I'm in the same situation as the OP. Only problem is the Roydvale vehicle testing station has closed down a few months ago (at least so I gather from my googling). And Fitzgerald Motors are closed till 8th (I wanted to get it sorted this Sunday -7th).
Will try to ring Mclean Motors tomorrow and see if I can book in with them.
Anything else out there?
I end up getting done at First European near central city. Great people to deal with in my experience. Open Saturdays.
