Precisely. No one cares what music you are playing... when you are in the Feeling Entitled Without Adequate Reason section of the orchestra.

... not that that ever stops them and their sympathizers claiming they have the right to dictate how the language should be written. One of these days, their excessive sense of entitlement will smack them in the face when they find out that the gravy train, sooner or later, always pulls into a station where they do not have taxpayer/ratepayer-supplied fuel for onward journeys. It will likely take a few more years, but sooner or later, they will have to deal with economic reality. See: Greece, as a horrible warning.

I am not convinced these people ever have any utility in our community, other than - possibly - as a Horrible Warning. But I doubt even that. They just want to dip into our pockets to make themselves feel better about their ExistenZ. That never ends well.

You really can't view reality other than through a perverse prism of nihilistic fantasies based on your collection of personal inadequacies, can you Katman?

Projecting again... Best reduce that tendency before your online persona renders any other commercial endeavors you engage in, futile...

    Oops: already too late.

Lets just get something straight, while we're talking about use of language and whatnot.

If people read what you right, and call you on what you are saying - I won't repeat it but basically it comes off as the basest, most appalling racism I have struck in a long while to a fairly objective reader, then that reader calls you on it, and maybe makes a few cheap cracks at you: I acknowledge I did that. But I don't think its "projecting" whatever that might mean. I think its calling you on your fucking bullshit. Honestly, I was going to type a long and involved post with statistics and stuff but, well, fuck it. And fuck you.
I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave

HDC: how could anyone not be convinced by your abusive discourse? Hard to understand. / Sarc off.

Projection is when you only see other people through your own view of life. If you can only see one reason for any objection by a group of people to 'authority' taking our money and using it for something we think is a waste you you deem worthwhile and mandatory, and that reason in your mind is racial prejudice - then you will always accuse people disagree with you of being racist.

If you had done even a modicum of research, you would see that the minority of people wanting to change the H - and a minority of people wanting to make up for their own failures by extracting revenue from the more productive - are of a European ethnicity. Because, the majority of people wanting to control other people's lives are logically, generally the same racial make-up as the majority of society. Perhaps that helps you understand better/

The top 5% of households in terms of income in this country, pay 47% of net tax in New Zealand. Households up to $60,000 income receive more in welfare on average than they pay in tax. Therefore those earning over $60,000 in income, subsidise other people's vices, stupidities as well as of course everybody' appropriate needs (e.g. disaster relief, justice, sickness benefits, roads, police etc etc) as well as their virtues and desires. Yet clearly you don't think those who disagree with the way you feel taxes should be spent, should be allowed to have any opinion when tax money and rates money is frittered away on stupid policies.

In fact 'we' have no more say than anybody else, and that's as it should be in the sense that democracy means one vote per one person. But you seem to want us to simply be forbidden to object to taxes being misspent on stupid ethnocentric policies; that's not democracy: that aligns far more to a definition of racism than your attempts to define racism.

Good luck with your passion for redistributive economics based on your view of social justice: as Margaret Thatcher said, and as Greece has just proven, sooner or later, socialists run out of other people's money.

I remember when the original Treaty of Whaitangi settlements were supposed to have been full and final payment...

I just sold a house in Wanganui up in St. Johns Heights. The real estate company, amongst other things, advertised it in overseas publications and web sites because apparently there is a significant Asian interest.
