    Two-up touring bike

After 2 up touring bike. Prefer newer than 1995 without huge km,
Must have good passenger and rider comfort plus luggage would be a large bonus.
Would rather it was 900cc plus and under 3k to buy. In road legal and running correctly would also be a huge bonus.

Bandit 1200s. We got an 04 for 2k. Perfect for it. Keep an eye on TM.

Bit of jetting and they have decent power.

Nice. Assume its not got luggage.
My CR is past reserve and finishes tonight. Can you send me photos that I can have a look at after work if you get time.
Power not over important as long as it will haul 2 people.
Whats the km like and does it have any service history at all?

Sorry that was meant to read they are great buying. We are not selling it. mate got an 99 for 2k the other week with 36ks on it.

And we picked up luggage for next to nothing as well. TM is a great place....

Theres a few on at the moment but at higher prices. Because it will only be a second bike just need good passenger set and luggage for camping and rallies. Spotted a zzr1100 also which would be a good option. Must admit I had a gs1200ss and hated it. It was uncomfortable to ride but idd expect bandit seat design would be better.

Hard to see how you could go wrong for $2k. I rode one with similar milage a few years ago and really liked it. Comfy neutral-ish riding position, real solid, nicely weighted feel on the road and much smoother and maybe a little faster than a GSXR1100 with half the km on it (compared back-to-back on the same day). I would've bought but couldn't agree on a price with the seller and I was still a little worried about Kawasaki's second gear made of chocolate. I think they fixed it by the D model though.

It was very similar in overall feel to my Hayabusa, I imagine it'd be distinctly familiar to your old ZX14.

To old and hard to get bits for if you break down a long way from home.

I had the original zx10 sports/tour (1989 I think). It was a great bike. Assume the 1100 being the replacement would also be good. Idd really like a bike with hard luggage so im not tempted to make a trailer or adapt my zx14r trailer.

    Break down ... ... With 37'000 kms ... it's barely run in.

I've seen some FJ's with 200,000 kms and still running sweet.

    Plenty being wrecked too ...

Not sure. The 14 handles surprisingly well. Maybe better than it should for its size. Better than the zx12r that I owned years ago. 1100 might be closer to a blackbird in handling. Likely very well loaded with passenger.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ZZR11 had a whole bunch of capabilities the ZX12R didn't.Have a go on one before you make your mind up.
