Thats not a bad looking Bandit. If you end up with it I can send you the stage 1 carb setup, easy as. Looks like it already has a Rider saddle which will be good for 2 up. I have a good trick to lower the pillions pegs as well that is very simple. Then chuck a Busa rear shock in and you are golden.

Theres a 37k red one in welly with full system and hagon rear shock and yss front suspension mods. 98 model though and likely 4k as hes asking 4.5 ono.

I think the first gen forks are orifice damping so i guess its had some kind of shim stack system fitted.

Yeah and having a sprot bike already it would be a good option for 2 up and rallies plus I already have touring style leathers and boots to suit the style also.

Its getting expensive. I would like view it as he wont do a wof unless purchased with buy now which is out my price range.

Also its a Honda and im the worst member on KB for calling H riders ghey. It would be like bending down and and taking one up the tail pipe.

A primary school teacher had the 74' model, some of us young lads would walk around it wide eyed when he got to school, I can still recall that smell of new/hot motorbike, it was that ocean blue colour, just gorgeous.

The Goldwing just went off the menu. Easy come easy go.
Decided to stick to the budget and avoid visa withdrawal.

Here it is at 3.6k with new wof and rego includes delivered to Welly.

No Palmerston North, I recall a cousin was living with us and her boyfriend had a Kawasaki of sorts, it was a weird orange/pink colour with yellow stripes and two M's on it somewhere, but that Honda was summit else.

I went through Auckland Teachers' College and in the group were two guys who rode bikes, one of them was still riding to and from work when he retired as a principal...

Keep an eye out for a Busa gen 1 shock, it makes the bike for 2 up. Stock shock is crap and worse with 80ks on it. I also have the spec for a cheap mod to the forks to get them working well. Also a trick with the fork springs.

Ill check what has been done to the shocks when it arrives next Saturday. Could have been worked on.
You would assume with stock pipes its also stock tune so may look at options with pipe and jets. Might be for my old man riding style the lazy tune might be ok

Out of the box they are jetted way to lean. With a new pipe it gets worse. A few shims, some idle jets and mains along with a pipe finds it decent power. Will ride much smoother as well. I get 300ks before going into the reserve tank.

My punt is the forks and shock will be stock. Busa shock sorts the spring rate for the back as well.
