Yes!!!!! There's nothing (well almost) better. I find the funny thing is that you don't even seem to be trying, or even going that fast.

Pity that you can't feel like that every time you ride.

Must agree. Plus I like to keep it clean too. When it is looking good, I feel even better.

Yep cracking! I have some great days riding in to Welly from Mana. This morning was very nice and smooth.
If it's good weather on the way home I often take a detour around Pautahanui which has some nice twisties if the traffics not too bad.

Makes a great stress reliever for the end of the day.

I love those sort of rides where everything just clicks togeather. Man and machine are one.

Pity they are few and far between, but summer is comming and I'm sure I'll experience a few of those ride in the near future.

I really wish I could experience that... EVERY ride I take is another week in the garage for repairs, after the last one - I have left it in the shed to die like the gay fucken homo it is. (still better than a gay honda).

The ZZR did it for me, and my old KDX - I think its time I eyed up the 05 KDX

The last day i had like that was December 31st 04, woke up early as i had a dirtbike ride planed with a few mates, the missus jumped me, showered, went dirtbiking at the willows in Chch(awesome place to ride) rode for 5 hours, got home at 1pm, had a long soak in the bath, then got a tx that everyone was doing an Akoroa GP on the road bikes, i was kind of shattered from the mornings dirtbiking, so i decided to go for a nana ride with them, it turned out tobe one of the best rides to Aka's i have ever had, there was stuff all traffic, it was 26 degrees, my bike felt like it was on rails...it was f%KN FANTASTIC, then got home had a nana nap, then took a head of drugs and went in2 town for new years eve, got home at 10am the nxt day, that was (apart from my kids being born) one of the best days ever

I had a ride like that the other day up the Takas (although it didnt look like it).

Im still learning so every once in a while I manage to do something on the bike that could only be described as an 'epiphony'. In this case I was riding through the corners relatively fast and 'throwing' the bike around underneath me whilst maintaining a constant like upper body position. Im not sure if it was right but it felt right. I can only liken it to skiing through moguls...constant body position, let the legs and hips do the work.

    Digressing, but it was clicking.

Sounds like an almost a perfick day mate. Except, with all due respect, I'd preferred it if my lady jumped me not yours. Not that you're lady isn't very pretty (and she is very pretty) but, ya know, its a personal thing. Oh - and you ride an R1.
