every time I've had my ears tested by an audiologist (a lot) they do it first with a conventional headphone over the ear, and then with a bone phone. The bone phone has to be pretty tight against the skull to work well, and gets, not painful but pretty uncomfortable after a while. I wouldn't like to have to have that pressure against my head for an extended time.
The Panasonics might be different but I'd expect they have to have very close contact to work well.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
