How about a shot like THIS one, but a bit closer to the bike and with more of the beach and ocean behind it?

here's an idea to raise a bit more cash, auction of each month to a KBer so they can put their bike on it. Start price of about 20 bucks.

Wow, some people take their work seriously! Settle BigDave, settle . . .

Nah all good, hear your points, but was more just a way for me to brag about my new baby really. Will be getting some proper shots of it soon, rest assured (but they will still be posted in low-res, cause the site doesnt allow it any other way!).

yeah - needs an artsy shot or two. A closeup of a motor, a knee down, a touring scene, a racer, a social shot - a collection of iconic representations of what we are about.

I have a nice one for touring:

hey print the decal and I will slap it on my bike for 100$ I get alot of public attention its like ghrider not quiet the full capacity but still has the potential if you catch my drift there is a massive skid mark outside the shops where I accidentily locked the rear under "extreme" heavy braking.

ever think about regionised pictures, like group pictures of every regional area etc... then we could laugh at the southerners and aucklanders together oh the humility.

NOT ..... hahah just to get yer intrest.....

Why not a montage of everyone who wants to be in it, send in their fave photo of themselves and their bike ....then....

Make a big collage? montage? (wassa difference?)

    and presto, everyone's in.

Um - remember your High School annual mag with lots of individual photos merged ??? Like that .....

I'd start by getting there so the sun is behind you and the bike not in shadow - because the sky is fully blown out by balancing the bike in shadows.
Use flash if you can't get the sun behind you.

It also needs to be 4 times that resolution to allow for print reproduction.

Good that there is plenty of image to crop for shape but there is a beautiful city there too - Show more of it.

Sorry to be picky - it's my gig.
Something like this may be more the go.
