Yep. I'm pretty sure the decision has been made to not bring them in, in favour of the 1000. Didn't sell many Versys 650s in NZ apparently. Girl's bike, you see.

The new ones were hideously overpriced compared to the rest of the mid sized 'vencher machinery on offer. Probably because they had some original design work to pay off, not many of the competition had many new parts outside of new plastic.
Comonly held opinion that you only get what you pay for is wildly optimistic, but in the case of the ER based items there's a very real threat one may come close. Congratulations.
