Locating a very hard to find part

    Hello

I am trying to find a part for an old Kawasaki KX250, its the governor rod for the power valves the part # is 490 46 1063, I have tried Kawasaki in nz, a few on line places in japan and the US and have payed for it a cople times then have been refunded because they can't find it.

If one has a NOS one I would be very happy, or knows a good place to try.

I tried to google image the part number to see how hard it would be to make, all I got was this thread. Would it be possible to put up an image of it?

I don't think OEM from the factory is that grubby. Looks like it's being kicking around longer than the bike it was bought to fix.
Seeing as this thread is so sleuthy, how about finding a front axle for a 1981 PE400x?

And yes, it's the same part number for the 400 axle.
