    Hornet 250 problem

My hornet bogs down after 10,000 RPM, It's like the bike just doesn't want to open up and breathe. I have been told this is a carb issue. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try ride past 10,000rpm with the fuel cap sitting ajar. If that works fine, your fuel tank breather is blocked. If not it could be carb related.

    Dirty, blocked air filter?

    tired spark plug?

spark plug cap or lead shorting out ?

make sure basics are ok before fiddling with carb.......
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

Yep. Been there with my CB400. Took three years to diagnose the problem.
Grow older but never grow up
