    RST boots?

I've heard they're o.k and online reviews are good but no retailers here seem to know much about them.

Anyone here had any experience with them?

KiwiRider magazine carries advertising for RST - http://issuu.com/kiwirider/docs/kr_aug_15

You should be able to find the importer's name and ask them about the boots.

    BTW, welcome to KB...

RST is decent kit that won't burst the bank. I have RST two piece leathers and boots.

They had RST gear in Cycletreads once, when I say gear, I mean jackets, they may have had boots as well.

Ive got a pair of the boots. Will be about a year old. Holding up well, I ride in them everyday to work. Quite warm compared to my others.

    Good solid boot.

Good size toe sliders as well which seem to be lasting well.

What style of boots are you looking at, I have a pair of RST sports boots & I hate them - too stiff, too much plastic shit on them & unless I am wearing a really thin pair of socks hard to do up. I tried them on in summer with ankle socks on, bought them off the rep as I was working in bike shop at the time & the price was so cheap - you get what you pay for.

Instead of getting hung up on one brand of boots that may not be readily available, why not go and look at a couple of bike shops and try on some stuff?

Nothing wrong with RST, have owned/used some of their gear back in Europe, but personally I see it as a mid range sort of brand.

Thanks for the welcomes and friendly advice.

I've been into a few stores and checked some out. Most of the options I tried on look and feel like "sleeve of wizard" or are a bit out of my price range for first pair.

I've done a bit more research and found some others to try on thanks.
