    be helpful and give me some opinions on the value

    Given the history of the bike and the higher mileage I wouldn't pay any more than $3K for it. Last Japanese bike I purchased was an 05 CBR1000RR with 50km for $5,000, hadn't been used as a track bike either.

    Your best bet is to tardme it at 5k and include may trade up to 3k and see who wants to upgrade or upsize their bike.
    Its possible to get a good deal off someone with a 600-750 they want to upsize.
    Don't run auction if your going to consider trades as it will get complicated.
    Don't include the spare fairing set in the listing. Sell those after as they wont increase its value.

    Nice bike, always wanted one since my mates Dad had one when I was a lad.
    I agree they are a future classic, would need to be the right example though
