Saw it ... he wasted his opposition by one second (well, one second is hardly "wasted") .. I wonder what he would have achieved on a properly running bike ??

While Guy is pretty dam awesome, prospective here is.
Guys time on a 1100 turbo charged GSXR with 380+hp time was 11m 32.6s
Codie Vahsholtz 250 class record on a kX250 is 11:24.792
The overall motorbike open record is Carlin Dunne Ducati Multistrada 1200 9:52.819
For the tin tops Seb Loeb Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak 8:13.9

I hope he gets it running properly and does go back for another go because he is great for the sport as he is not a cliché PR controlled robot.

Don't get me wrong he is obviously talented beyond belief, but for me that fact that he is so different is bloody refreshing.
Sport needs personalities. He has been great for motorsport.

his perfromance record is pretty outstanding, one of four to lap iom at 132mph, yip he hasn't had a win but he's still right at the sharp edge and loads of other top results considering too he only does a handful of events each year.

Not only that at 31 he is one of the youngest consistent top performers he has plenty of time on his side compared to quite a few others.
