House swaps overseas - Anyone done it?

Anyone done one thru a website? If so which one & did it go ok?
Looking to travel thru France/ Italy in a coupe of years with the kids & thought it may be a good way to go.

Hi- just got back from Europe. Used Home for Exchange. We used our credit from people we had stay here over 6yrs ago. (non-simultaneous exchange). Stayed in Barcelona and Portugal. Have also done house swaps in Noosa, Perth, even Wanaka last weekend. Between that and AirB&B it is the way to go.

Welcome. Just checked. For the overseas ones we used HomeExchange.com. No doubt there are others now. Airbnb was in its infancy too when we started.
