The older SF is, the air cooled ones. Not the 399cc modern ones from 89 on (CB-1) it sayd 395cc and 408cc on the LAMS list.

I'm sure I've seen a new one in an Aussie bike mag LAMS comparo a couple of years ago.

People aren't saying you'll always have trouble. They're saying you might run into trouble, and that's a risk buyers should know about, particularly LAMS buyers who tend to be less experienced and more easily taken advantage of.

I had a look on the Lams list it has the 400 twin, the old 400/4 and another listed as the CB400r when you google the cb400r 400sf come up.
Still can't figure out how a lot of the more heavy powerful bikes make it on the list and all the 2 strokes 250 are to much. FFS thats why the 250 were made for learners in the first place.

The police would never know they would just see CB400.

No wonder it was rare. If you got off that at park you would be chaps gap up within minutes.
